Junior Data Engineer - Internship Or Apprenticeship

PMP Strategy is a leading strategy consulting boutique working with clients from diverse sectors, including TMT, retail, energy, finance, and manufacturing, in Europe, North America, Middle East and Africa.With a strong and clearly defined roadmap continuing to develop our expertise in building data-driven solutions to business problems, we are looking to recruit one Junior Data Engineer (Internship or Apprenticeship) for our Datalab, consisting of a vibrant team of data engineers, data scientists and data analysts.What you will do on a typical day :Apply your analytical and coding skills to construct robust and innovative solutions to challenging and unique business problems helping our clients spread across 4 continents, from a wide range of sectors e.G. telco, retail, energy :Understand the client's needs and translate them into an innovative methodologyGather the data necessary to solve the problem: searching for databases, webscraping, retrieving data from our clientsAddress the issue through traditional analyses, machine learning, graph models, optimization algorithms, generative AI, as needed in a design to cost way. There are no limits, provided the solution is robust.Present your work to internal and external clients and gain deep knowledge on various business sectors.What we are looking for :Reasonable level of coding skills (especially in Python) able to understand a business problem and write a well-structured and robust solution in Python code. The code should be easy to understand and easily maintainable.Not required to be an expert in different algorithms and libraries but motivated to learn more and upskill when required.Desire to work on the entire data value chain (collection, processing, modeling, reporting, pipelines, etc.)Strong curiosity and interest for business problems.
