Located in Ville Saint-Laurent, this company is looking for an Industrial Buyer. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the person will be responsible for all major projects. ? Act as liaison between Purchasing, Tenders and Project Management. ? Participate in tender launch and execution meetings to identify key procurement interventions. ? Compile a list of preferred suppliers to promote the use of framework agreements by sales and quotation teams. ? Comparative analysis of offers and purchasing recommendations. ? Search for alternative, cost-effective suppliers ? Participate in the negotiation of regional framework agreements ? Management of Corporate Purchasing requests; ? Participate in US purchasing coordination meetings ? Preparation of monthly reporting and purchasing KPIs ? Carry out price requests, negotiations and order generation ; ? Ensure supplier qualification and evaluation ; ? Perform daily follow-up activities; ? Negotiate commercial and legal contractual clauses ? Manage supplier complaints, deficiencies and non-conformities ; ? Identify and correct problems raised by bidding and execution ;? Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred. ? 5 to 10 years in the purchasing field. ? Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus. ? Experience with MRP using an integrated ERP system is a plus. ? Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
