Junior Validation Engineer Apply Locations: Sophia-Antipolis (Valbonne) Time Type: Full time Posted On: Posted 14 Days Ago Job Requisition ID: R-10055895 Context: The NXP business line "Connectivity & Security" designs leading edge devices for intelligent mobile solutions that safely connect consumers and their technology to the world around them.The digital validation team ensures the functionality and performance of these devices both pre- and post-silicon. We are looking for individuals with a passion for SoCs who are interested in ARM and RISC-V based SoC architectures, as well as low-level code development, lab hands-on experience, and automation development. Responsibilities: Deep dive into block level specification or system use case and define test plan.Review test plan with stakeholders (design lead, system team).Implement test plan in C and Java and verify on pre-silicon platforms, such as FPGA.Test execution and debugging through the silicon validation campaign (evaluation and characterization). Your Profile: Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.Experience in embedded C.Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, ...).Experience in at least one modern scripting language (Python, Groovy, ...).Hands-on experience in lab, and familiar with lab equipment.Excellent debugging skills and drive to develop innovative hardware.Design verification background – an advantage.Post-silicon logic debug background, analyzing test logs, SW hooks development for debug purposes - an advantage.We strongly encourage you to apply even if you think some job requirements mentioned are not part of your profile/portfolio.
