Job Title: TIG Welder Location: Corby, UK Salary: £15 per hour (with review and increase to £18 per hour after 3 months) Overtime Pay: £25 per hour (Mon-Sat), £30 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays) Call-Out Pay: £100 per call-out (regardless of call-out duration) Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled TIG Welder to join our team based in Corby. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality commercial trailers and rigid bodies, utilizing your TIG welding expertise to ensure precision and durability. Key Responsibilities: * Perform high-quality TIG welding on steel and aluminum components for trailers and rigid bodies. * Work from technical drawings and specifications to execute precise welds. * Collaborate with fabricators and engineers to meet production goals and client specifications. * Ensure all welds meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance. * Maintain and troubleshoot TIG welding equipment as needed. * Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: * Proven experience in TIG welding, especially working with steel and aluminum. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
