About The Opportunity

FCTG Corporate Brands have been extensively investing in our customer-facing & internal technology systems. Those systems increasingly involve aspects that sit in the Financial Technology, or “FinTech” arena, including Payment Solutions and Expense Management. As we deploy more systems that FinTech services, FCTG Corporate Brands is looking to appoint a global leader responsible for managing Divisional FinTech strategies as it relates to our customer-facing products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Helping create FinTech strategy with respect to technology products.
  2. Ability to lead complex strategic initiatives that cross multiple domain boundaries, in a global multi-brand organization.
  3. Ability to drive product strategy and thinking across other product domains in support of those strategic initiatives.
  4. Experience in both building and partnering with third-party providers to establish technology products and services.
  5. Validate & build out the global FinTech strategy for the next 12 months in our SME business, Corporate Traveler.
  6. Own the entire deal process of establishing FinTech solutions, from finding the right partners, negotiating the deals, rallying internal teams behind your vision, and helping launch the resulting products.
  7. Working with customers, experts within the travel industry, customer prospects, and internal sales & marketing teams to establish product market fit.
  8. Establishment of a global strategy for FinTech across our brands.
  9. Reduced time-to-market for FinTech solutions within our products.
  10. Increased revenue generation from offered FinTech solutions.
  11. New revenue generated from ancillary FinTech product lines, fees, and management services.

Experience & Qualifications
  1. Work experience at relevant FinTech businesses, including payment providers, expense management providers, B2B travel companies offering FinTech solutions, processor networks, B2B banking providers.
  2. Team development & leadership
    • The most important competency is to develop a strong team of product and design people.
    • Accountable for ensuring the development and retention of people within your organization.
    • Ensuring the people within your organization are evaluated positively by the rest of the company.
  3. Product vision & strategy
    • An expert in establishing and maintaining both the product vision and strategy for your given product lines.
    • Ensures the product strategy aligns with corporate objectives and delivers commercial benefits within the scope of your product lines.
    • Contributes to the overall strategic direction informing M&A activity and build/buy/partner decisions.
  4. Execution
    • An expert in product planning, discovery, and engineering processes that can drive the team’s ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively.
    • Proven experience in collaborating with senior executives as part of a large global organization including evangelizing the product vision, strategy, and the product roadmaps.
  5. Innovation
    • Understands and effectively implements a culture of continuous and rapid testing, learning, and risk mitigation ultimately leading to continuous innovation.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $200,000 - $230,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
