S&OP Manager / Demand Planning Manager

Food/FMCG business requires an S&OP Manager to build and optimise planning processes. Applicants need; demand planning or S&OP experience gained within either Food or FMCG. Candidates from a Business Intelligence background will also be considered. The S&OP Manager will be supported by a team of 2 Planners and will be responsible for leading all demanding planning, S&OP and forecasting activities for the business, both strategic and operational. Specific duties of the S&OP Manager include: Leading the S&OP process to ensure alignment between supply chain, demand planning, and production activities Facilitating and coordinating monthly S&OP meetings Collaborating with various departments to gather and analyse data for effective decision making Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure the efficiency of S&OP activities Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and demand planning processes Ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management to meet business goals Lead, manage and mentor a team of 2. S&OP Manager applicants should meet the following criteria: Experience in a demand planning or S&OP role, at senior or strategic level Previous experience within Food or FMCG sectors Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, modelling and planning software Capable of driving change, process and continuous improvement activities Collaborative, open and communicative team player Ability to manage senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
