School Site Supervisor Location: South Birmingham Job type: Temp to perm Start date: ASAP Pay: £12.00 – £17.00 per hour Are you an experienced School Site Supervisor or school caretaker currently looking for a new and exciting opportunity in Birmingham? Or are you an experienced maintenance person looking to get into the education sector? Twenty4Seven Education are recruiting a school site supervisor/school caretaker on behalf of a large SEN school based in South Birmingham. The role is full time with the hours being worked on a shift rotation, with the shifts being 6am until 2pm and 10:30 and 18:30. The role will initially be temporary with the view of the permanent position for the successful candidate. Applicants must have previous experience as a school caretaker/school site supervisor or have transferable experience from a similar sector. Applicants must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, strong maintenance skills and ideally have a trade behind them. The role is to start as soon as possible. The successful school site supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of 3 sites that are all close to each other in south Birmingham. Duties will include: * Closing and locking up the school site * Supervising cleaning staff. * Stock check and ordering supplies * Fire alarm testing * General site maintenance and repairs * Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs * Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.
