Site Manager- Sheffield Competitive Salary We are partnered with a premier engineering and construction company with a reputation for excellence and innovation with decades of experience in delivering complex and challenging projects across diverse sectors. Due to continued growth, we are now urgently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background including solid understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent leadership abilities, and the capability to ensure that all site activities are carried out safely, on time, within the budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed according to project plans, schedules, and specifications. * Provide civil engineering expertise and guidance to the construction team, solving on-site technical challenges, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations. * Oversee the allocation and use of materials, equipment, and labour, ensuring optimal productivity. * Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment by safety briefings and ensure all site personnel comply with safety regulations. * Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery. * Monitor project progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and implement effective solutions promptly. * Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and any changes to the project scope or specifications. * Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, providing effective solutions to keep the project moving forward. * Degree in Civil Engineering. * 3+ years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on civil engineering projects. * Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS & First Aid or equivalent are preferred. * Scaffolding and lifting operations experience is an advantage. * Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. * Proficient in project management software and construction-related software. * Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
