Quantity Surveyor - Facade Location: Leeds Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per year Benefits: * Company Car * Vehicle Allowance * On-site Parking * Sick Leave Payments * Holiday Pay About Us: We are a leading Roofing Specialist working for over 20 years in the Construction Industry. This role, based at our Office in Leeds, involves supporting our Estimating Team and may require travel across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Manage tenders from enquiry to project acquisition. * Ensure competitive pricing in submissions. * Assess enquiry documents for risks and opportunities. * Present handovers to Commercial and Operational teams. * Measure drawings accurately and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers. * Create estimates using Immortalis software, adhering to Building Safety Act requirements. * Prepare and submit accurate bids and maintain client communication. * Arrange site visits, issue subcontract packages, and prepare internal take-offs. * Demonstrate clarifications within tenders and meet submission deadlines. * Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings and produce cash flow forecasts. Requirements: * At least 3 years of estimating experience in construction, with knowledge of Fire Safety and the Building Safety Act. * Technical knowledge in façade systems (roofing, cladding, curtain walling, windows, and doors). * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office. * Strong communication, analytical, and numerical skills. * Full UK driving licence. Desirable Qualifications and Skills: * Level 3 NVQ in Construction Contracting Operations. * CPD related to the Building Safety Act. * Familiarity with Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam Revu, and SharePoint.
