Role Purpose
The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance of the installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock. This is a key role in terms of delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirements and is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection and installation of equipment and services.

The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance of the installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock. This is a key role in terms of delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirements and is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection and installation of equipment and services.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to Asset Management investment programme, 30-year business plan and strategy.
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance, cyclical services and essential projects some of which is of a capital nature in line with Housings Repair Policy
- Providing information to assist in maintaining an up to date information system on stock condition and programming.
- Surveying and inspecting sites and properties – post and pre inspections
- Assist in the development of Strategies and Policies relating to Asset Management
- Preparation, updating of specifications for the procurement, evaluation and implementation of new R&M contracts across all essential services i.e. building repairs, voids, gas, M&E compliance
- Working alongside the Gas Team to provide a support service for gas compliance and essential maintenance
Requirements
- Must have own vehicle to carry out full scope of duties and full active UK driving license.
- Experience using M&E software applications and database’s e.g. C365, Civica CX, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office/Outlook- for managing work streams/record management and compliance
- Demonstrable experience of managing major housing cyclical and planned maintenance projects in the public and/ or private sectors
- Detailed knowledge of building legislation including health and safety regulations particularly around legionella, lifts, gas servicing, electrical services and fire safety
Contract
- Full time position Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- 2 to 3 days in the office; Site visits for the remaining 2 days (hybrid arrangement)
- Paye via Umbrella
- Initial 6 month ongoing contract
