Electrical Fitter

Marine Resources are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Fitters, preferably with marine experience for my client based in Bromborough, Wirral.   My client is one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and maintainers of high-speed workboats from 5m to 25m in length for global defense and security markets. Operating from two sites in the Northwest of England, the organisation currently employs 145 people. The company is now entering a further accelerated growth phase having recently moved to a 6.5 acre waterside shipyard premises and is on target to double the current £20M revenue over the next 2 years with its existing order book alone.   The role would suit somebody with experience of general fit out and electrical wiring on a variety of crafts from commercial and military markets. Stripping, overhauling and assembling specialist equipment with experience of fault finding and problem solving. Knowledge of how to work through electrical problems with the design team.   The Role Proven record in Electrical Fitting covering maintenance/assembly Experience working on small or large marine craft Knowledge of marine engines and propulsion systems. Working within a new build and/ or repair and maintenance environment Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Willing to work overtime as requested by the company Lead, motivate and support their team, instilling a culture of cleanliness, quality and continuous improvement  Skills Time served / Apprentice Trained Electrical Fitter or NVQ Level 3 ElectricalQualification or equivalent and be able to produce the proof of these qualifications. Excellent attention to detail / quality Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work on their own or part of a team Good planning and organisational skills as well a proactive and consistent approach.  This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours across Monday - Friday. 8 - 4:30 with overtime including weekends available.   If this sounds like something you would be interested in, then please call Ben on (phone number removed) or hit apply!
