Support Worker

Location: Neath Salary: £12.00 per hour (40 hours per week) Sleep-Ins: Paid at £67.75 per sleep-in Annual Leave: 29 days We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our client, providing essential support in residential settings across Swansea. The role will involve a combination of day shifts, waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins. Key Responsibilities: Assist individuals with daily activities in the home and support them in the community. Provide care to individuals with a variety of needs including learning disabilities (L/D), autism, epilepsy, sensory impairment, and non-verbal communication. Support individuals with challenging behaviours. Carry out duties with a focus on promoting independence and well-being.Requirements: Must be a driver (essential). Previous experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours is essential. Experience with restraint/de-escalation techniques is not required but beneficial. Must have experience working with adults with additional needs, including learning disabilities and autism.
