Job Requirements / Description
Typical Day in Role:
The is an integral part of the market data and services acquisition, management and servicing lifecycle. Focused primarily on contract management and vendor relationship service, the candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the activities that will support:
• Market Data Services acquisition and implementation activities – sourcing, contract negotiation and administration
• Contract Management – contract renewals, service additions and changes, record-keeping
• Cost Management – collaborate with Invoice Payment Team to manage vendor invoice process, validate costs and cost attribution.
• Compliance Management – manage service entitlements in line with contract parameters.
• Internal Business Partner Management - work with internal business partners to process data sourcing requests, license requests, ensure technology solutions fit/work within our environment.
• Database and record-keeping - Maintain high quality data in the systems (inventory database management, invoices review process)

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 3-4 years’ Experience working with Investment Professionals (investment management information needs).
• 1-2 years’ Experience in accounting or budgeting an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word (MS Access preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven interpersonal skills

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• 3 years’ experience in vendor management and invoicing
• 3 years’ experience using TRG-Screen or MDSL software
• 5 years’ experience with investment market data and/or financial services industry experience.
• Understanding of database systems

Education:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
