Account Manager – Truck Mounted Platforms Manufacturer Location: Bedfordshire Salary: c£30000 to £35000 plus car, annual bonus Role – UK Sales Manager – Truck Mounted Platforms: My client is a European market leader in the manufacture of truck mounted platforms and a decision has been made to expand their operations into the UK and Ireland, and in order to do so a decision has been made to recruit a proven UK Sales Manager. They are a multi-million-Euro organisation, operating throughout Europe that are looking to create a permanent presence in the UK market. This is an exciting and challenging role, as it will essentially have the remit of establishing the business in the UK. The role will be heavily new business biased in the early stages, although there are contacts they currently have directly and/or via their existing dealer to utilise. In time the role will become a combination of new business development and account management. The UK Hire sector is the customer base they are ideally targeting. The role will report directly into the Sales Director. Candidate - Account Manager – Truck Mounted Platforms: The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following: * Proven sales experience * Experience successfully selling truck mounted platforms ideally, although they would look at someone with general plant machinery sales experience. * Excellent negotiation skills * Ability to develop strong customer relationships * Good communication skills both verbally & written * Good planning and preparation skills * High level of integrity and trust If you are interested in the role then please forward your CV with a covering letter explaining your suitability for the role
