Electrical Project Manager

Overview Atkins Search are currently working with an established Electrical Installation Contractor to recruit an expert Electrical Project Manager to join their team. Client Based in Nottingham, our client holds over 30 years’ experience successfully completing commercial electrical installations throughout the UK on behalf of major retail and leisure brands. Having built a diverse and prestigious client base across a wide range of sectors, they have experienced a controlled and expansive growth as a direct result of a high quality and customer focused approach. Role As an Electrical Project Manager you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of Electrical Installation Work to the Industrial and Commercial Sector, covering a wide geographical area ranging from £5K to £1 Million in value for multiple or individual contracts. Responsibilities * Managing teams to deliver projects to the required quality standards and specifications. * Involvement in pre-construction activities including pre-start validation, management of the design process, site set-up and production of RAM's/CPP's. * Leading and motivating the team in accordance with personnel policies and procedures. * Collaborating with design consultants and other members of the project team to deliver design and build projects. * Ensuring that all employees have the appropriate training and qualifications to fulfil their role. * Establishing and implementing a meeting structure for each project. * Ensuring all projects comply with health and safety regulations. * Fostering strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle. * Managing project budgets and ensuring commercial targets are met. Person * Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager delivering commercial projects. * Excellent project awareness and understanding of the need to adhere to programme, in order to maximise revenue. * Problem solver with a dynamic and proactive approach to finding effective solutions. * Proven and extensive people management experience. * Communicates clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication. * Strong team player. * Safety and Quality Driven.
