Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, cladding, and facades, with the ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial success and timely delivery of our projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for roofing, cladding, and facade projects. 2. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to assess project requirements. 3. Conduct site visits and assessments to understand the scope of work and identify potential challenges. 4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop comprehensive estimates. 5. Prepare and present cost estimates and bid proposals to clients and management. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on roofing, cladding, and facades. 2. Strong knowledge of materials, installation practices, and industry standards related to roofing, cladding, and facades. 3. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail. 4. Proficiency in using estimation and quantity surveying software and tools. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
