Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Huddersfield, Yorkshire Pay Bracket: £43,000 - £50,000 Simpson Judge are partnered with a fantastic business, based in Huddersfield. They're looking to hire a Finance Manager to join a finance team of 6 and support the Finance Director. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the existing Financial Director, you will be responsible for taking control of the finance function. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Maintaining the General Ledger including journal entries and account reconciliations Assisting with the Accounts Payable and Sales Ledger Close Balance Sheet Reconciliations Managing VAT returns / compliance Commissions PAYE / CIS settlement / P11D (b) Confirmation Statements Cashbook reconciliation Managing the Year End Audit process Cashflow reporting and forecasting Responsible for dealing with supplier rebates and escalations. The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years' experience in a similar role Experience in working in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment ERP software experience Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Good organisational and time-keeping skills High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role Good IT and MS Excel skills You'll benefit from: A salary up to £50,000 per year Hybrid working Study support 25 days Holidays + Bank Holidays Free Parking Company Social Events Modern, progressive, and collaborative working environment Don't tick every box?
