We are looking for a Manager, Client Data Operations to provide group benefits consulting support, including design, financial management and ongoing servicing for existing clients and prospects. The Manager, Client Data Operations will also manage a small Account Management team and ensure quality standards are met.

The Manager, Client Data Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations processes (data imports, data exports, calendar management, production of reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness). This is currently a people management position that requires the individual to work closely with various teams across the organization, including data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders. A large part of this role is to ensure a timely resolution of external enquiries. ACL values innovation, data quality, teamwork, accuracy and self-development.

As the Manager, Client Data operations, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that all data processes, reports and dashboards are accurate, reliable, and consistent
  • Overseeing the production and distribution of reports and dashboards on a regular basis, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization
  • Collaborating with other teams within the organization to develop new reporting and analytics capabilities that meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Supporting project work bridging between systems as we migrate to new technology
  • People Manager of four (4) direct reports
  • Managing priorities set by the business/operations with the data team
  • Identifying and addressing production issues and ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders and executives
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data analytics

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of work experience coordinating priorities within a data processing team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production operations environment
  • Knowledge of incident management, deployment practices and planning tools
  • 3+ years in project management or indirect/direct people management
  • Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or relevant domain
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Data transforming technologies is an asset
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset *not required, nice to have*
