Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Enterprise House in Hook. If you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, we want to hear from you! Part time position requiring full flexibility to be available to work 6 hours per day/ 4 days per week. Pay rate: £11.50 per hour Key Responsibilities: Serve behind café counter and take payments on the till Supervise the day to day running of the Bartley's café Assist the Café Supervisor with food prep each day for the breakfast, lunch and the all-day offering Cover any annual or sick leave for the Café Supervisor, all aspects of the role should be covered, including managing the team Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to Ordering all stock for the café and on-site vending machines Monthly stock checks Receive and monitor deliveries Identify strategies to attract and retain customers Have a great understanding of the costing of the café menus Ensure that all areas of the café are clean, tidy and presentable Monitor sales and trends and feedback to Café Supervisor to increase café sales - commercial sales experience would be a benefit Identify strategies to attract and retain customers Every assignment at Serco comes with the following benefits to you: Long term ongoing assignments, with permanent opportunities Up to 33 days paid holiday a year Weekly Pay Exclusive access to Adecco Associate Benefits including retail and leisure discounts, and Mental Health support If this sounds like the job you are looking for, click apply today!
