Junior Electrical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate level Electrical Project Manager to join the team immediately and thrive in a supportive environment that promotes growth and achievement. This mid-sized team has very low turnover and one of the best reputations in the Hamilton / SW Ontario commercial and institutional markets. Qualifications: -Minimum of 3-5+ years of Electrical contracting experience in the role of estimator, coordinator or project manager. -Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Word and Excel -Experience with Accubid estimating software an asset. -An ability to read, understand, interpret construction plans is desired -Must have excellent reading as well as writing skills -Well organized with an ability to effectively set and manage schedules -Resourceful, energetic and able to manage multiple priorities -Strong team player -Driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites Responsibilities: - Attend site visits and meetings. - Reviewing plans, specifications, project contracts & documents; - Take offs and submit tenders. - Manage commercial and institutional projects from start up to completion as a team - Coordinate activity on sites - Resolve site issues and developing solutions to on-site problems - Maintain and adhere to construction schedules.
