Salad bar department manager

Overview:To ensure the efficient functioning of the Salad Bar department, providing customers with the best quality Products, ensuring courteous, timely customer service.Duties and Responsibilities:Direct and supervise all Salad Bar staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service.Respond immediately to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.Maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales goals and budgets are met.Organize and set up the department, ensuring proper signage is received, made up, and put up correctly.Maximize reprocessing daily within the Produce department, effectively assisting the Produce Manager in minimizing shrink within the department.Order, receive, manage inventory, and display merchandise.Hire part-time staff and train new employees.Schedule all Salad Bar clerks ensuring strict control of wage costs.Interpret and administer Company policy and ensure compliance with the union contract.Ensure the maintenance of equipment as well as the safety and sanitation of the department.Other duties as required.The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, night shifts, and weekends.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.Three to five years’ experience in the retail Produce industry.Prior management experience is a definite asset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum Grade 12 Diploma.Chez Fortinos, nous attribuons notre succès à notre souci de préserver nos valeurs fondamentales : des aliments super frais, un personnel bien formé, la propreté du magasin et, par-dessus tout, un service à la clientèle supérieur et amical.
