Basic Role Responsibilities: * Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical requirements. * Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services. * Utilise estimating software and industry standards to develop detailed cost breakdowns. * Request and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to determine the best options. * Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project requirements. * Propose value engineering options to optimise project costs. * Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to clients. * Conduct cost analysis to compare estimated costs with actual project expenses. * Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documents
