Job Responsibilities:Perform analysis on business and technical requirements provided.Facilitate the session(s) to gather all requirements/create the user stories.Document confirmed requirements/work with Product Owner on User Stories.Provide clarifications and support to project team during design, development and testing phases.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Understands Software Development Life Cycle and can effectively perform BA tasks for each of the project phases.Experience with SIT and UAT Testing.Experience with SQL, Jira / Confluence.Have knowledge and experiences with Agile Methodology.Work experience with Digital Banking Platform, e.g. OLBB and/or Commercial Banking is desired.Investigates and identifies strategies to optimize business operations and services, and inform business decisions. Defines business requirements to inform technology build and operations by sourcing and analyzing relevant data, reviewing and documenting business processes and collaborating with business stakeholders. Sources business and market data to evaluate the effect of projects on business results. Also assesses the efficiency and the performance of technology (software, hardware and the wider IT system) to deliver expected business results. Identifies and analyzes malfunctions, system workflow, and troubleshoots issues raised by business.Elicits requirements and analyzes feasibility to ensure solutions/initiatives achieve the expected business outcomes.Supports various project teams across the project lifecycle to ensure development is aligned with the business requirements.Develops informative, coherent, and usable project documents (project artifacts) for multiple stakeholders covering functional and non-functional business requirements.Applies depth of domain & functional expertise for the assigned portfolio to drive the expected business value.Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.Builds test cases in order to validate business requirements and End-User Testing results.Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Qualifications:This Lead BA role will lead a team of BA and will work on projects/initiatives that span across departments in a large organization:Identify business and technical stakeholders needed to provide requirements.Perform analysis on business and technical requirements provided.Facilitate the session(s) to gather all requirements/create the user stories.Document confirmed requirements/work with Product Owner on User Stories.Provide clarifications and support to project team during design, development and testing phases.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Understands Software Development Life Cycle and can effectively perform BA tasks for each of the project phases.Have knowledge and experiences with Agile Methodology.Experienced with Digital Banking Platform is desired.Soft Skills/Leadership Skills:Takes ownership, takes initiative.Applies critical thinking to analyses; creativity to strategic; problem-solving.Ability to assimilate lots of detailed information effectively.Highly effective listening skills, articulate verbal and written skills.Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills.Works independently with great resourcefulness and little guidance, can work with ambiguity at times.Can-do attitude: persisting in driving towards end goal by self and leading the team.Awareness of critical path amidst changing priorities.Demonstrates transparency and willingness to share knowledge and best practices.Displays acumen with technical concepts and business/industry knowledge with a strong desire for continuous learning.Work experience with Digital Banking Platform, e.g. OLBB and/or Commercial Banking is desired.Salary: $74,800.00 - $138,600.00Pay Type: SalariedBMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
