The role will require the following responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students. Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced, and meets the needs of all learners. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any incidents, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with school policies. Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Identify and support students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional help, working closely with the SENCO and other specialists. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support students’ educational development. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have/be: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Has a clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one. A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
