Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting Office/Ceded Re/Placement & Underwriting department. The Group Ceded Re department is responsible for: Defining the reinsurance strategy of the AXA Group; Analyzing the risks of the portfolios covered; Protecting the balance sheet of the Group’s entities; Securing the insurance operations of the Group’s subsidiaries; Implementing solutions that optimize the Group’s internal capacities and risk transfers to external markets. Within this Department, you will be part of the team UGP CAT. Your job and daily missions As CAT Life & P&C Executive, you will be responsible for: Structuring and placing the Group cover on Life risk; Contributing to the management and animation of AXA Property Pool scheme; Working on cross-functional projects for the Underwriting & Placement of CAT Group Protections. You will report to the Head of Reinsurance Underwriting & Group Protections – CAT. Main accountabilities: Prepare the underwriting committee to underwrite AXA subsidiaries Life Risk in collaboration with the representatives of AXA local entities; Structure and place programs for the Life Group cover in compliance with Group Risk and appetite, in collaboration with the actuarial departments (analytics, reserving and risk management) and support functions; Participate in the management and coordination of underwriting activities, reporting and administration of the AXA Group Property Pool; Engage or initiate on transversal projects, operational and governance topics in collaboration with support functions teams. Your profile Technical skills: Knowledge in Life Insurance/Reinsurance and ideally Property; Familiarity with risks analysis, underwriting and contractual documentation; Organization and ability to manage administrative tasks. Soft skills: Analytical skills; Ability to balance autonomy with teamwork; Initiative and adaptability; Effective and clear communication; Ability to interact with various stakeholders, both external and internal. Experience: A first experience in an insurance or ideally reinsurance department or company such as underwriting, portfolio management, risk management or actuarial function, audit, finance.
