Head of Grid Connection Europe – Renewable Energy - London (remote/hybrid) Are you an electrical engineer with a deep technical understanding and strong leadership skills? The Company: A multi-continental Project Developer with more than 40GW of operational projects across Wind, Solar and Battery Storage technologies. The business is currently developing a grid connection centre of excellence in Europe and require a Head of Grid Connection to lead the department and oversee the full suite of managerial and technical activities across their entire European project portfolio. The Role: As Head of Grid Connection Europe, key duties include: ·Lead the department and oversee the full suite of managerial and technical activities across their entire European project portfolio. ·Technical project management of grid connections ·Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, network operators (TSO/DNO) and other key stakeholders ·Drive the growth and development of the team across multiple international markets including the UK, Germany & Denmark. ·Report directly to the Global Head of Grid Connection The Person: Requirements include: ·Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field ·10+ years’ experience in renewables and a very strong technical understanding of grid connection ·Broad knowledge of the European grid connection industry regarding TSOs, current market trends and new potential companies/suppliers to partner with. ·Natural leadership skills If you’re looking to take your career to new heights at one of the most innovative and flexible renewable energy companies in the world, please apply directly with your CV and I’ll be in touch
