Job DescriptionThe Engineering Manager oversees the installation, repair and upkeep of Langdon Hall's property, including machines, mechanical systems, buildings and other structures. Engineering managers delegate tasks to subordinates, from painting and drywall repair to more complex activities like electrical, heating and air-conditioning work. They are also required to perform those tasks themselves. These managers are highly skilled and knowledgeable about a number of physical resources and how to fix or maintain them. They may be responsible for vehicles, electrical circuits, computer equipment, tables, chairs and other furniture. Engineering Managers must be able to forecast correctly and fulfill the need for new equipment when required.
