Groundworks Quantity Surveyor

Caddy Group is seeking an experienced Groundwork Quantity Surveyor our client. The company is renowned for delivering top-quality groundwork and civil engineering services across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets and cost plans. * Conduct accurate measurements and valuations of work completed on-site. * Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers. * Assess and certify subcontractor payments and variations. * Monitor and manage project cash flow, ensuring timely invoicing and payments. * Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management. * Assist in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts. * Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and company procedures. * Support the project management team in delivering successful project outcomes. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the groundworks or civil engineering sector. * Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes. * Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. * Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, QS software). * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, RICS accredited degree). * Full UK driving license is preferred
