Manager Role The objective is to create a sales driven store team, through consistent ongoing training of all team members, and holding them accountable to all Corporate Objectives. Managers Need To: Ensure customer satisfaction consistently happens in the store by every team member Manage store wage cost through scheduling and adjusting the schedule to trending Ensure Training and Development are to be ongoing at all levels Ensure effective Networking, Recruitment and Succession Planning is occurring Ensure our Loss Prevention standards are trained thoroughly to all team members Ensure visual presentation standards are maintained consistently Ensure there is a Manager successor being trained to move into the role if necessary Customer Satisfaction Each Manager needs to be trained in customer service steps and held accountable to standards, this ensures the customers have a memorable shopping experience Each team member should be able to respond appropriately to customer concerns, and teach their team members to also follow suit in this regard Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in each Manager, so they can effectively calculate risks in order to drive the business Managing Wage Cost Ensure that all Managers know how to reach sales plans and control wage costs by effectively utilizing all available reports and resources, and by reacting quickly to business needs, trends and changes Ensuring that the Boathouse email database is being built up continually Ensuring that our customers are aware of our Instagram and Facebook pages, which are created in order to generate brand loyalty and enhance sales Understanding and ensuring strategic and successful inventory control happens in each store. “Door to Floor” timelines should be adhered to Ensuring that every team member at all times is aware of the daily/weekly/monthly goal and that the team is working together to ensure the goal is met. Fostering a numbers driven environment is key to driving sales Wage cost management through effective scheduling and a clearly defined response to controlling wage cost as sales fluctuate Training and Development Provide an environment of fair ongoing training and coaching at all levels Ensure that accountability is held to results through effective performance management Responsible for ensuring that each Manager has an ongoing training plan for all team members by utilizing tools available Each Manager should be committed to providing strong training and commitment to each team member that is hired. Succession Planning and Recruiting Ensure that managers are interviewing consistently in order to build a strong networking base Responsible for ensuring each store is well staffed with skilled, well trained team members Responsible for ensuring that each manager is proactive to hiring needs by having contacts in the mall/industry Ensure that each Manager is committed to fostering an environment where team members feel valued, respected and recognized in order to retain top talent Please send your resume to [email protected] Job Type: Full-time Pay: $58,000.00 per year Additional pay: Bonus pay Benefits: Casual dress Flexible language requirement: French not required Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed Application question(s): How many years of management experience do you have?
