Tenure - Full-Time, PermanentTitle - Project Manager/ Senior EstimatorLocation - Cambridge, ONCompensation - starting at $125k/annually & aboveResponsibilities:Review project drawings, specifications, and related documents to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.Conduct on-site assessments and collaborate with project stakeholders to gather necessary information.Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with the project.Prepare and deliver cost estimates to senior management for review and approval.Collaborate with the procurement team to secure competitive pricing for materials and subcontractor services.Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of work specifications for various project types, including earthwork, watermain and sewer, road reconstruction, and demolition.Actively participate in project operations and attend meetings with engineers, clients, site staff, and office personnel to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.Coordinate with office staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all project activities.Qualifications and Requirements:Proven experience as an Estimator in sewer and watermain projects, specializing in the installation of civil roads, culverts, sewers, watermains and new road construction.Relevant post-secondary education in construction estimation, engineering, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with precision.Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices related to watermain and sewer infrastructure.Effective team player with the capability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.Highly organized and self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and permitting processes is advantageous.Proficiency in cost estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite.Valid and active Ontario Driver's License.
