One to One Tutor

We are excited to be working with a national organisation that provide one to one support to young people who are facing difficulty in accessing education. They have ongoing requirements for Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work with One to One with children and young people who have come out of mainstream schools. The majority of the pupils timetables will focus on Key stage 1 to Key stage 4 Maths and English, along with specialist subjects from Key Stage 3 onwards. Tuition is a great opportunity to support pupils and flexible to your lifestyle. It is a very rewarding and you are genuinely making a difference to pupils who are unable to access mainstream school. We have an immediate requirement for a Tutor in Richmond for a 6 hour a week contract initially up to July 2025. You will have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Have previous experience of planning and presenting a differentiated curriculum and have experience of and a willingness to train in communication approaches to curriculum access * Demonstrate a successful teaching experience with pupils with a wide range of SEND on a one to one basis. * Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs * Have excellent communication skills * Can challenge and motivate students, promote and reinforce self-esteem * A caring and nurturing approaching to working with young people.
