This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to the right candidate.Your key responsibilitiesAs a senior tax staff, you will participate in multiple and challenging tax consulting engagements and contribute to the delivery of innovative tax compliance support for our diverse clients.Skills and attributes for successDemonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.Develop and deliver innovative tax compliance products with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations.Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure outstanding client service. Team with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax services.Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals.Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.Prepare practical and creative solutions to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.Encourage communication and effectively supervise team members.Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas.Contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development.To qualify for the role you must have:a bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics.a minimum of 3 years of relevant Canadian tax compliance experience or the equivalent experience in business or industry.excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment.Ideally, you’ll also haveprevious experience in the financial services industry/sector is an asset.Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player.What we look forWe’re interested in strong team players who support their colleagues in reaching their goals while also considering their own workload and development.
