In addition to a rigorous strategic asset allocation process, tactical asset allocation is also used to take advantage of market opportunities.The analyst will be responsible for supporting the Multi-Asset Solutions team across various functions including maintaining models, trading, analysis, performance, and data management.The ideal candidate has a strong technical expertise, strong analytical skills, passion for investing, attention to detail, and collaborative.Key Responsibilities include:Daily rebalancing and tradingMonitoring and tracking performance, including attributionDesigning and producing regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboardsData managementProviding research and monitoring of domestic and international economic and political trendsData analysis on portfolio positioning and tactical tradesAssisting with the production of commentaries, client materials, RFPsSupporting client service teamsAdhering to all compliance, regulatory and legal guidelinesCompetencies:2+ years of relevant experienceStrong proficiency with programming (R, Python)Experience with Bloomberg, Charles River, FactSet would be an assetDemonstrates keen interest in financial markets and investingStrong analytical and quantitative skillsKnowledge of derivatives would be beneficialStrong verbal and written skillsStrong collaboratorUndergraduate degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or similar discipline Salary :$62,300.00 - $115,500.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
