About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Project Officer to join our team at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing inspirational visitor experience projects and activities across our wetland sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with colleagues across WWT to develop and deliver visitor experience projects and activities
  • Procure and manage external consultants and contractors
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary staff and volunteers at our wetland sites
  • Develop imaginative solutions to deliver on the ground

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree in landscape design, construction, conservation management or visitor centre experience
  • Practical experience of exhibit design, landscape design, construction and/or site or facilities management
  • Project management skills, including experience of managing the delivery of contracts
  • Excellent communication and team player skills
